Why does Team Horizon Homes Love reading?
As part of Team Horizon Homes, we read every single day! In the form of emails, contracts, text messages, and more. Our ability to read is a HUGE part of why we function so well as a team. Reading is a vital part of our working environment and good habits start at a young age. Reading reduces stress, builds vocabulary and cognition, learn to write, and so much more!
We have some real bookworms in the Team Horizon Homes office including our Creative Director and Office Assistant, Hannah Levy. Hannah is a Creative Writing major and has read over 90 books in the past year. As a child, a teacher once told her “writing makes you a better reader and reading makes you a better writer” which has been her mantra throughout the college experience!

Do you have a child that loves to read? Team Horizon Homes would love to help support them in their reading journey! In order for your child to enter our MONTHLY raffle for a Barnes & Noble gift card please follow the instructions below:
Have your child pick an age appropriate book to read
Once they’ve read their book they can choose from the options below:
Write a book report on the book
Do a visual report on the book (painting/drawing/etc.)
Have them include a short blurb including first name, age, and a sentence about why they enjoyed this book.
In the submission, please include parent’s first and last name AND the address of the Team Horizon Homes transaction you were part of.
Please submit a scan or photo of your child’s report or drawing to office@teamhorizonhomes.com | Subject Line: THHBookClub
If your child’s name is pulled we will send a gift card to the email address the submission came from. We would love to hear what books they’ve picked up AND encourage them to submit future entires for a chance to win again!
Important information: Your child may enter as many entries as they like. Winners will be picked from an automated generator on the first week of each month for the previous month. ALL requirements above , in the “instructions” section, must be met in order for entry. If your child is the winner a digital Barnes & Noble gift card will be issued to the email provided. We would love hear what books your kids pick up and encourage them to submit future reports! All submissions are allowing access for Team Horizon Homes to post on our Social Media accounts. We will NEVER share last names or any photos including you children.
